劍橋國際教育機構(CIEI)英語師資培訓中心成立於1993年,我們引進世界潮流的TESOL師資培訓課程,協助中外英語老師在教學上的卓越及創新。本中心與英國 Trinity College London-TESOL Courses Officail Provider- Inspired CPD,跨國合作TESOL課程,由多位教學長達10年以上專業培訓官合作設計課程,整合教學實務及理論訓練,提供最完整、嚴格且扎實的訓練課程,讓學員受益良多,更幫助多位亞洲老師就近取得國際TESOL證照,並於教學職場勝任。

Curriculum Overview:
A: Language Awareness Portfolio語言意識呈現
This assignment covers the grammar, lexis (vocabulary) and phonology (pronunciation) knowledge that effective teachers need to plan and deliver lessons. It consists of 14 units and the total course duration is 30 hours. You will have access to reading materials and videos that feeds into questions which form the portfolio that you submit for assessment.

B. Materials Assignment素材作業
This assignment looks at how to evaluate the suitability of materials, how to supplement materials, and how to be aware of learner needs. The assignment requires you to design some of your own materials and compare them to published materials. The course duration is 20 hours.

C: Teaching theory and planning 教學理論與計畫
In this course, we start with an informed approach to lesson planning and look at how to plan language lessons (grammar and vocabulary), how to plan receptive skills lessons (listening and reading), and how to plan productive skills lessons (writing and speaking). We then look at how to teach an integrated lesson plan and how to use a course book for lesson planning, combining all the different elements of lesson planning. You are assessed on four different lesson plans including your ability to incorporate pronunciation into your lessons. The course duration is 40 hours.

D: Learner needs and characteristics 學習者的需求與特質
This course starts of by looking at how we can describe learners, including looking at level and age. We then consider what impacts learning and language production, how to diagnose learner strengths and weaknesses, and how to describe and classify errors. The course concludes by looking at how we can use an awareness of strengths and weaknesses to plan and deliver one-on-one lessons. The duration of the course is 30 hours.

How to access the courses 如何進行我們的課程
On registration, you will be sent a welcome letter with joining instructions. This will include a link to a Google Drive folder with all the course materials and assessments. The course folder includes both reading and videos. On completion of each module, you will receive a certificate on completion of all four modules。

Course Deadline 課程期限
From the day you receive the welcome letter, you must complete and submit all assignments within 6 months (180 days). If you exceed this deadline, you will not be able to obtain the certificate。

How are we different? 我們有何不同
Our courses are stacked for ongoing professional development allowing for credits towards future qualifications. This 120-hour TESOL program can be counted as partial credit towards the Trinity CertTESOL (200-hour OFQUAL Level 5 qualification), which can then lead to the Trinity DipTESOL (OFQUAL Level 7) with credits towards a master’s degree from various institutions including a program run by one of our partners, NILE-ELT.

- Foreign nationals who want to teach English in Asia or need a TESOL certificate to apply for a work visa 外籍人士想要在亞洲教授英語或需要TESOL證照申請工作簽證者。
Entry Requirements:入學門檻
- (A) University graduate or above大學畢業或以上
- (B) English proficiency certificate英文成績證明: IELTS: 5.5 or TOEFL IBT: 87 or TOEIC:785 or CEFR: B2 or Cambridge: FCE Pass or GEPT中高級
If you do not meet the score requirement of (B), you must schedule an online English interview with us. If you pass, you can register for the course
